Day Hike to Lower Palisades Lake [Photo Album]

Hello Family and Friends!
We took advantage of the incredible weather on Father’s Day and went for a 4 mile hike up to the Lower Palisades Lake near Irwin, ID. The hike was great and we saw plenty of wildlife along the way including a chipmunk who was hungry for provolone cheese. After the hike back down, we were both pretty beaten up in the legs and needless to say we woke up very sore the next morning! I’ve provided a map below so you can get an idea of where we were. We hiked right up the valley to the lake with the creek by our side the whole time. The picture album will come after the break… Enjoy!
