The Greatest Screensaver Ever!

Well, it’s the greatest slideshow screensaver for the Windows platform anyways. Kind of like the GLSlideshow for linux and the Picture Slideshow for the Mac OSX with the “Ken Burns Effect”.

If you’re looking for a great way to share your photos through a screensaver, then Nostalgic by Greggman is for you.

After trying a couple others found on the net, this one takes the cake. It takes little processing power (unlike iSlideshow which was very skippy even on my core duo laptop with 1GB RAM) , it’s very stable (most the time, I would get glitches using MotionPicture), and it’s freeware!

Another pretty trippy screensaver that I came across while “shopping” for these was called Zoom Quilt. You may just want to check that out. Pretty cool stuff.
