Whoa.
The concert was awesome. No question about it. Flogging Molly had that entire floor moving and moshing, and the crowd was very cool. No flying punches, no bloodied noses, and if somebody fell down in the middle, somebody else was right there to help them up. Smiles everywhere and the people were very understanding, and the band rocked. Two thumbs high in the air.
The concert was over at about 12:15AM or so and with the 2 hour drive back, we didn’t get into Billings until about 2:10AM. I had to drop off the friends at the various locations, and then my head hit my pillow at home at about 3:00AM with dreams of ringing ears and songs still playing in the background. I got up for work today at the usual 7:30AM so I’m running on about four hours of sleep. Wonderful.
I’m tired, hungry, exhausted, sore, and dirty. I have a constant ring in my ears and I can’t here myself type or talk. I’m about to fall asleep at this desk, and it was all totally and completely worth it!
